The faculty, staff and students of the Department of Sustainable Biomaterials value diversity and inclusion in all its forms, including but not limited to race, ethnicity and national origin, gender and gender identity, sexuality, socioeconomic status and religion. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for all. Our department attempts to recruit and retain a diverse faculty and student body through the creation and maintenance of an inclusive academic community where all may feel like they belong. Our world is interconnected and we wish to ensure that our education, research, and outreach are open and accessible to everyone.
