Biography
Kambiz Sadeghi joined the Department of Sustainable Biomaterials in Spring 2026. He earned his Ph.D. in Packaging Science in 2022, specializing in the medical & pharmaceutical packaging . He spent several years in industry, working closely with healthcare product manufacturers on packaging development, design validation, and regulatory compliance. His experience spans design, testing, and optimization of packaging for medical devices, sterile products, and pharmaceutical formulations.

Dr. Sadeghi’s research integrates real-world industry challenges with academic innovation, focusing on challenges in medical packaging, material–chemical interactions, and the development of safer, more sustainable packaging solutions.
