Overview

Those attending the workshop will learn how to increase energy efficiency and about the impact of rising energy costs on the wood product's industry. Participants will gain the knowledge needed to implement an energy management program to reduce energy costs to their wood products firm.

The workshop is co-sponsored by the USDA Forest Service’s Wood Education and Resource Center, Virginia Tech’s department of Wood Science and Forest Products, National Hardwood Lumber Association, and the Wood Component Manufacturers Association.
